3 Food Ingredients To Avoid

1. Palm Oil is not only bad for you because it’s high in saturated fats (the bad kind of fat), it also has a negative impact on the environment as well as the animals that live in those environments. 2. Butylated Hydroxyanisole (BHA) is a food preservative that can be found in anything from preserved meats to chewing gum. If “preservative” is listed as an ingredient it’s probably safe to assume that it’s BHA. Of course sometimes you can’t help it and I’ve eaten my fair share and yes I’m still alive. Also it’s been approved by the FDA (whatever that means). I guess the point that I’m making here is to be aware and to avoid it if you can, because in high doses it has caused cancer in a particular organ in rodents known as the forestomach (which is an organ we humans don’t have). Still, I’m going to try to avoid it if and when I can.
3. Flouride can be found in toothpaste, drinking water (tap and even natural “spring” bottled water), and black tea. If you know of any other things that we consume that contain fluoride please let me know. Fluoride is supposed to help with our teeth but according to Doctor Paul Connett it’s not a good thing, it’s not even a necessary thing. Also, I know what I’ve already implied about the FDA but it might help to know that they continually classify fluoride as an “unapproved new drug.”
